After completing a mission where they defeated two Magic Knight traitors that were working with bandits, including the bandit leader Yami had faced before, the two were promoted to Captains and allowed to form their own squads. With Asta still in a stupor even after hearing the story, Yami spouted some shonen cliches, which snapped Asta out of his funk. Just as the Black Bulls were about to leave to find out the results of the Royal Knight selection, someone came knocking at the door! Mereoleona! Just what does her arrival portend?
