midnight Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 I'm fascinated with Chernobyl. I want someone to make a movie about it, but not a horror movie. An actual movie showing the events leading up to the disaster. But Chernobyl Diaries was a pretty creepy movie.
PhilosipherStoned Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 I'm fascinated with Chernobyl as well, but more so it's contemporary state as an irradiated natural wonderland.

PhilosipherStoned Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 One of the largest super wolfpacks in existence now calls it home.. They appear to be larger than normal. Biologists are citing the lack of human interference as the reason though rather than mutation if I'm not mistaken. 1

Not a movie, but I think History Channel (or one of the other similar channels) did a documentary on it with a timeline. I personally remember that one of the countries to the north was like, "Hey, what are you guys doing? There's a whole bunch of radiation here!". And typical Soviet response, "We're doing nothing, who says we're doing anything?" 1
Mix Posted June 29, 2019 Author Posted June 29, 2019 (edited) I can get behind the documentaries, but people are now going there to hang out and take pics with their geiger counters....wtf some girl was taking half nude booty shots ffs Edited June 29, 2019 by Mix

But I will check into the other two. I have always been fascinated with this disaster. Unfortunately, I don't watch a whole lot of TV. So these have escaped me. I thought I heard Netflix or someone was going to do a series, but I could be confused with the HBO one you mentioned.
