Naraku4656
nothing -wrong- with it inherently, it was just cheap Farberware set when i got it about 5 years ago and it's starting to show. most of the cookware stuff i see online that everyone says is good is either crazy expensive or impractical for a single guy. what do you guys have

Naraku4656
Idk maybe I'll just replace the pieces that are falling apart. Some of this stuff is fine, it's just they won't all exactly match but I guess it doesn't matter

Now, I know Rachael Ray is a big hit with us here on UEMB, so hear me out. My stepmother bought har branded cookwae set about 5 years ago, and it still looks band new, it works very well (I've even used bits from it) and the handles are a grippy heat-resistant silicone material. Then again you don't cook a lot. You probably could just get new Faberware shit

NeurocideVibekillah
Unless there are metal shavings in your food, I wouldn't worry about it. There are better things to spend your money on if you want to impress a girl.

I've used a lot of old pots and pans over the years and still do. If my assumptions are correct and they're deteriorating and affecting your food then I would get new ones asap, but if not, I say wait.

Well seasoned! And honestly even if you need to re-season it, just coat it with olive oil and bake it at 350 for about 15 minutes... no joke. Sasha's mom's grill has a cast iron skilled attachment and I seasoned it like that but used bacon grease.
