... wow it's almost like actors know how to put on another voice!

Vic usually makes no attempt to change his voice though

it was egotism, he thought he was so beloved that it was better for him to use a recodnizable voice in every role

HE CAN. I can think of several roles where he changes his voice, like in Oh Edo Rocket/

Ikkaku from Bleach and Broly are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head where it didn't sound like his normal voice.

You know if it werent; for the fact that Vic is the actor, this ep would be pretty good.

if this character ever appears again he'll likely be recasted as one of VIc's hundreds of sound-alikes

Didn't we get word that Vic said he's not being replaced in Jojo?

more than likely only because his entire involvement is complete

My impression was they were still dubbing this season as Toonami is airing it, but it colud've been only my assumptions.

As numerous voice actors with recognizable voices have said, that type of thing is always up to the voice director not the actor.

Vic claimed it was still being recorded and he is still playing Rohan.  If we choose to take him at his word, it means they likely couldn't afford to change actors mid-dub and/or re-dub the old stuff.  I think it makes more sense the dub is just already done and Vic is full of shit though.

I can almost guarentee the dub was just finished already and he's BSing

He doesn't strike me as the type who would make a like like that about his job.

He's made up a lot of things to cover his ass

I have the right mind to be spoiled and look at the rest of the episodes to see exactly how many more focus on Rohan, so I can gauge when to be thoroughly hating it.

Jojo just got way too bizarre for me. Every episode is just wacky.

I know it's a bizarre adventure but there's gotta be limits.

and if this show IS still retaining him when he's being accused of molesting little girls it makes me question if we should stop supporting this dub

It's not the writer's fault.  And they cast Vic before all this mess started, it's just an awful coinidence.
