I saw a set of tarot cards and a sweet, vegan leather case for them at Earth Bound the other day. I came close to buying them, but they were expensive and I really know nothing about them. They had a book about them, conveniently placed next to the cards, but I would have had to have dropped about a hundred bucks for it all.

You'll probably run into something you like a lot cheaper.

My grandmother bought my mother a Ouija board for her birthday one year. This was a long time ago. But my mom said she would sit in the closet alone, in the dark, with the door cracked just enough to let in a little light to see the board, and she would play it. She said nothing ever happened though. The planchette never moved at all.

I have heard just as many stories about nothing happening as I have something happening.

Still, that is enough to make me not want to play it. Let me rephrase that, I am not playing it.

Nathalie Hertz is a great artist, and affluent practicioner. I was taught by a guy that trained me to take the Golden Dawn meanings of each card anyway so decks are more just for aesthetics for me.

I became trained by a Golden Dawn member. that's kind of why I got excommunicated from the Mormon Church :D

I should have checked at Barnes and Noble while I was in there getting the Ouija board. But I didn't think anything else about it. Tarot cards hadn't crossed my mind until I saw them at Earth Bound. I was actually surprised I found the Ouija board.

I remember when you could buy them in the toy section at Walmart.

I'm not sure if I actually align with all of the Golden Dawns thoughts myself, but for the most part their beliefs are traditional to the craft, and held in high esteem so I can't knock 'em.

Mini must have gotten his PS4. He logged off in a hurry.

We will see him again in a year.

I just walked the dog but that's coming soon. once it gets back here I will be gone for a while until I am summoned back by Fuggz. I know but she has the power to summon me at will

I can summon you too now.

Just by turning on our PS4.

Haha.

However, if I had a Master Shake figure, I'd be disappointed if he didn't leap from objects.

Ouija needs at the very least an initial contact for anything to 'open' if anything opens at all. Looking at it and checking the slide of the planchet isn't going to do much.

It wouldn't have been so bad except the MasterShake figure kept taking out Space Ghost and anything else in his way on the way to jumping off the desk. He's now fenced off on a shelf across the room closer to the floor in case he starts jumping again.

Think I'm honestly feeling a dragon themed one these days.. it is hard to get a hold of more tradition set wicca/witchcraft set ups these days I've heard.

B&N has a fairly decent selection of newer stuff in general. I enjoy looking through the selections even if I'm not in the mood to add to the collection.

Also if you are able, Cons always seem to have some booths where you can find a whole lot of Craft items. Beware Con prices though, always check out all the booths if possible for a good price. If you live in an area that hosts any sort of annual holistic expo, I've never been to one that didn't have at least one booth with nothing but decks both new and gently used. I picked up a metal tinned Wonderland deck last year at an expo and while I haven't used it, I like it for it's art.
