PhilosipherStoned Posted February 12, 2019 Posted February 12, 2019 I bought the CD this track was on though. Props to the artists. Quote
zombieninjakitten Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Perhaps it’s because I’m getting old but I prefer CDs. I want an actual physical copy of the music (or movies) I’m buying. And no, I don’t like vinyl so shoot me. 2 Quote
Chapinator_X Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 It wouldn't have sucked to see CDs go away if cars still had them. It was the reason I was still buying metric tons of classic CDs from thrift stores, but now that new cars don't have them, they'll all be obsolete once I eventually get a new car. 1 Quote
Cidz Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 i miss the feeling of going into a music store and browsing the cds and discovering artists sometimes. or like going to best buy and buying like old classic rock cds for like 10$ and under. but i think i miss the feeling of discovering music that was new to me more than the actual buying of cds. tho i do agree that i do enjoy physical copies of things more still. even tho digital copies are nice and im not gonna pretend i dont get those either. its always nice to have something to hold in my hand, and to look at the artwork, and browse thru the booklet. 1 Quote
PhilosipherStoned Posted March 24, 2019 Author Posted March 24, 2019 I miss that too.. I was never into vinyl as a kid, but the older I get the more I'm intrigued by it. I still have no means of playing or working with vinyl tracks though. Quote
NSAID Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 I used to be very into the concept of "music as it was intended" and listening to songs in order and checking out album art but now it's like who has the time... I still prefer a saved copy of things to streaming tho 1 Quote
