Just learn his pattern. I believe all he does is dash and create an earthquake that you have to jump over when he pounds the ground... or does do the diagonal dash too? I didn't think he was terribly hard. Steady nail of course for all boss battles imo

Dirtmouth toward the very end of the game, 10 forms, each harder than the previous form, meant for extreme players who can master a boss's pattern and take little to no damage. 1
