Clu Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 I think one of the guys that works for me in Providence just used a DBZ quote in his PowerPoint presentation.... We are going through a pretty big systems change that has been a headache to say the least... And after the presentation there's a picture of a rainbow and it says, "push through the pain, for giving up hurts more" I want to send him a picture of Vegeta... But if I'm wrong I expose something about myself. Like a midget at a urinal, I'm going to have to stay on my toes.

Clu Posted August 6, 2018 Author Posted August 6, 2018 Dude would just stare at his computer for an hour thinking on how to respond.
Codename: Jackass Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 First search result was "11 of Vegeta's most inspirational anime quotes from DBZ". The light is green.

Well I knew it was from there... I feel like I could make up someone else saying it because he didn't reference the quote... Which is suspect.
Codename: Jackass Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Most people are right to hide their powerlevel at work unless they wanna be the office "weirdo". Unless they can afford not to give a shit.

Unless they can afford not to give a shit. The buck pretty much stops with me in my area, but those fatcats on the 10th floor won't understand. My entire desk is covered in nerd shit though, so I'm not fooling anyone.
rpgamer Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 Sounds generic enough that they could've thought they were being totally original and clever.
Chapinator_X Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 It's just as Vegeta once said, "A true saiyan always sprinkles when he tinkles" 2
TrigunBebop Posted August 6, 2018 Posted August 6, 2018 At least he didn't tell you his balls were inert. Had a supervisor tell me that once. 1
