how much did you up the med by? just wondering.... well your mood charts look better then mine.

50mg trazodone to 100mg

Im still having trouble getting stuff done  BUT im not crashing as much

My mood chart may look better because ive been on my main med for 4 years now but lately ive been depressed and anxious. As u already kno...trazodone has a bit antidepressant qualities. I probably need a real antidepressant but like u told me - thats not a good idea and the last time i was on one i ended hospitalized

Me out of the blue abt my kid. He acts like shes his kid (most people think she is). I wished my uncle's loved me that much. Ive never had an uncle even drive me down the street. My bro drives 500 miles just to come get her lol

Its just weird how things change.

In this pic they were actually in DC. My brother flew to DC to hang out when my mom and daughter were there.

You don't get the crispy chicken skin if you don't fry! Chicken skin is half the reason for chicken damnit!

:D

I want KFC now. And it's a million degrees outside and the only one in the area is in the next city.

You can so take an antidepressant, as long as your mood stabilizers are, well, stable. The only time I ever had a problem was with my retarded Florida shrink, who didn't have me on anything besides Zoloft. When I described hypomanic symptoms, he increased the dose, and 3 days later, I heard the voice of God. I have been on an anti depressent almost continuously for roughly 20 years, and believe me, I have a lot more trouble functioning when I'm not on one.

Thanks. Maybe after im eligible for fmla in case i go batshit again.

Oh and i could read everyone 's thoughts, thought i could start my car without the keys and put a butcher knife thru my arm because i was finally finally not scared to slice myself after wanting to die for so long. i calmed down and i went to work with a hole in my forearm blood dripping down and started taking phone calls. My manager came to my desk and said my dad was there for me and my dad took me straight to the psych ward lol

Was there for weeks...they put me on medical leave. I dont want to go thru anything cuz im just starting out at this new place im at.

Thanks for the advice. I cant believe ill ever bee at 100%...never been 100%. Life is like trying to function with a knife permanently stuck in my stomach and im trying to ignore it...but u can still feel it...i know u already know what i mean.

You only want KFC because of the $20 fill up bucket commercial, I was into KFC before it sold out and became mainstream. 💪

Kfc is a challenge for me. They hire the most retarded people and every single visit takes 20 minutes to get the food..and the correct order.

So i go very rarely.

KFC is an excellent restaurant, and I find the service to be on par with the so called, "fine dining" restaurants that charge an arm and a leg for food, like restaurants that serve Kobe beef and filet mignon for example, pretentious and overpriced, and if my OKC dates don't understand this, I'll bolt out the door and leave them with the bill!! 🐻🔥👷‍♂️

Talk about it to your shrink sometime - if they don't think you're stable enough, then you haven't lost anything. Plus, I have to say that now, I'm getting to the point where mania becomes less frequent and severe and depression starts to dominate, so my take on them is probably a bit different than yours

Youre constantly under the influence, no?

There's no influence to begin with why are you letting TV and politicians play with your mind, sounds like a basic college age person who just lets the media control his/her brainwaves, wow Generation Z is screwed.

I need mine upped sincsle I'm still at a low dose and keep having really bad days.

But my prescribing doctor was in a short term program and I got transferred to a *coughworsecough* long term program right when it needed an increase and these new people have been dragging their asses on getting me to see the med doctor for a fucking month. Almost bailed and went for hospitalization just to get back to the better program and a higher prescription.

This is another problem with bipolar the doctors have failed to warn us about-  it turns more into depression as time goes on.

fuggz bipolar is more unpredictable then yours... she doesn't need any antidepressants.  Me and fuggz have non-classical bipolars.

I like fast food, I just have to watch what fast food and monitor what kind of day it is so it doesn't end up being a waste of time and money. If it's looking to be a good food day, I'll pick up BK on the way home. I've ordered pizza occasionally and KFC is the rare treat because it'll take almost an hour to bike to the nearest one from work and then home to eat it.

I knew it when the Colonel was still alive and it was called Kentucky Fried Chicken but had to change the name to KFC in order to appeal to fatasses like yourself who get too winded actually saying the full name.

No thats not what he means. He always says one or two to me...never classic

Type 1 is more of classical bipolar. These people tend to take lithium as a first line medication. They experience depressions and happy manias. Of course there are variations to this.

Type 2 bipolar is mostly repeated episodes of depression, however some type 2 bipolar people also have up phases.

Whats he mean by non-classic?

Its just a different pattern. For example I mostly experience depression and mixed episodes, however because I experience "up" phases I am not a type 2 bipolar. Nor am I a true type 1 because of the rapid cycling and lack of true mania.

I gotta ask which one i am. I think geodon is used more to treat 1.

I may have more depression because the meds are successfully supressing my mania

Ok

I learned i "rapid cycle". I can go from feeling extremely happy and then feel impending doom and loneliness the next

Probably type I vs type II. Type II, to my understanding, is more reactionary. That's what I have.

Here is an example of type 2.

3 months of depression followed by one month of normal, followed by 3 more months of depression, and the cycle repeats.

Type 2 can experience hypomania; it's full-blown mania that actually marks the difference between 1 & 2.
