Emphasis added yet again. I will agree it is hard to walk away from a Quarter Pounder, much less a Double Quarter Pounder. I just don’t agree that my inability to do so constitutes an unfair trade practice."

It's been awhile, but I think so - like 10 cents extra for cheese.

Hornshire
As a frequent purchaser of non-received cheese, it would be of some benefit (the significance of which is debatable) for a decision in favor of the plaintiffs. Sadly, We don't find much grounds for their claims of anti-competitive behavior though.

My childhood was ordering fast food and then having to check in the parking lot to see if they actually made one without cheese or not before going home. Their issue is that the cost is the same even though they're ordering less.

Meh, the cost isn't an issue.....How many quarter pounders do you have to eat a year to notice the sting here. I mean I always order no pickles....And if I go to taco bell, I get no beans on my Mexican pizza.....I don't expect to be compensated for having them remove shit. Hell, my Subway sandwich costs exactly the same whether I put cheese on it or not. This is far stupider than I had thought......I wish my interpretation was what was actually going on here. Careful, that would put tens of thousands out of work, on the streets, randomly asking passers by "Do you want fries with that?".
