older elder scrolls game

skyrim was my first. before that i was more of an old school final fantasy kinda guy.

i'm trying to get into oblivion, and so far... failing. (about ten hours)

is morrowind any good? am i giving up on oblivion too soon?

Morrowind is the best one IMO.

If you're computer is decent you can run a "2017" version of Morrowind.

unfortunately, my computer is a mac. 

pretty sure i can download it on my 360 though...

How new is it?
Because the game is so old even the basic new stuff or even somewhat new stuff can run Morrowind at better graphics.

And I'm pretty sure it works on Mac.

Don't quote me on that, it probably doesn't even require bootcamp.

it's worth a playthrough, and Shivering Isles is pretty neat, but yeah- go ahead and wait for Skyblivion.

In the meantime, go play morrowind, like right now.

general consensus is that 3 is the best in the series. 

i played 4 myself but hated it so much. didnt like 5 much better either. 

1 and 2 get love from the really old fans but those games have their quirks. 

 

if you just looking for an older rpg to play on your pc play vampire the masquerades bloodlines. one of the best ever. just make sure to download the latest patch.
