For some reason I do not remember it being this long before, even in the last rerun! yeah the final ep is an hour long(or close to an hour)

Her mood here is totally emo and depressing, unlike before where she just acted kinda bored. "iT'S THE CLIMAX!"

Seems longer than that.

Plus there seems to be a lot of options in this one.
The1gairon Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Here's the part where Haruko shows her true colors.
mochi Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 this show is essentially a deconstruction of the "Manic Pixie Dream girl" trope both of Naota's manic Pixie dream girls (mamimi and Haruko) are actually quite fucked up and dangerous people who he'd be far better to forget about 1

The1gairon Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I gotta say also, the iron metaphor is one of the weirdest metaphors in anime I recall ever seeing.
ben0119 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Why the hell is that the Japanese girls' gym uniform?! Mamimi is kinda dumb. Lol she jacked a bunch of the students' cellphones. Lol Mamimi getting revenge on all her bullies, even the random moped splasher. Sleeping there like homeless people lol.

And then... it got boring ratings and no one talks about it ever again. Makes me sad. It was a great feeling almost like I was back in school/college. 1

The1gairon Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 One thing about being a middle-schooler- you confuse being treated friendily as being in love.
ben0119 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 They're not on my revenge list lmao. A hamster wouldn't die in 3 days. They hoard their food. Kitsurabami not interested haha. Hamtaro lol. Oh hell Canti fused with it!

Gyaos Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 I went away for 30 minutes. Why is FLCL still playing? Did a music video fuck things up?

The1gairon Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 .... will we get to see Atomsk's evolved form again in these new seasons. Will they even remember to include it?? WE'LL SEE! Yep. Naota's still a kid. The manga based on this has a sadder ending though.

Meilag32 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 So is FLCL Progressive a straight up sequel or a new story? 1

Meilag32 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 That preview answered my question. Looks like Haruko has Atomsk's power now. 1

Clearly it's somewhere in the modern day (the sneak peek of FLCL Alternative includes a smartphone and GOogle Maps as storypoints), but I'm not expecting them to reference Naota or his town. Except they will include hints that the story has evolved (Haruko appears to have Atomsks' power now in the trailer). Edited May 20, 2018 by elfie
ben0119 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 Canti rebelled. Naota attained Atomsk's power and is fighting back against Haruko. I love you. Aww haha. Haruko left. Mamimi too. ;( I can't drink that it's too carbonated!
ben0119 Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 The guitar twined on its own. Or perhaps someone unseen did. Hmm.
