Then why is Nintendo calling it "Nintendo Switch Smash Bros. (working title)"? They announced Xenoblade 2 the same year that was released. But they've deliberately announced and delivered on every single Switch title within a year thus far and the simple fact that no Smash title has been ported in any capacity whatsoever, combined with the sheer lack of any indication of it being a port, leads me to believe it not only is a new entry but will be released within the year. Even the "working title" is suggestive of it. If it's a port, they'd at least imply it, if not the more likely of outright announcing it as such. A port would be " Smash Bros. 4 on Switch" or something along those lines, no beating around the bush. Nintendo announces new titles as new titles and ports as ports plain and simple.
