I dont trust jewellers, the diamond trade is extremely exploitative and the stones themselves arent actually worth anything besides as the coating for industrial drill bits. Of course she has specific tastes that you're just not going to find around here, if you look online the ones she'd like are only like $20, the more expensive ones are ugly as hell, and even if you managed to find something decent at a jeweler theyre going to charge a grand for those same exact $20 rings because fuck jewelers.

I have a card I never use and one that I use JUST to make credit purchases to raise my credit score.....Even if she was balling, having a bunch of cards is financial suicide. Unless you desire a higher credit limit when you can afford it, DON'T just start collecting credit cards. You'll wind up in a never ending circle of paying them off with other cards.

I only have two credit cards because it's easy for me to handle the payments for them. Really good credit is the only positive I've gotten out of my health issues keeping me from ever living it up when I was younger, so I've been trying to be really responsible with money since I've gotten a sort of steady income.

I don't plan on ever having more than 2......I can't imagine why anyone would do that to themselves willfully.....But then again, it's what the 1% counts on. I didn't really like season 4 of the Boondocks, but watching them go broke and keep digging the hole was both interesting and painful to watch.....Like I see people do it all the time, but it only mattered to me when a cartoon did it

Jewelers will fuck you, and the diamond industry is a bunch of bullshit. Try searching for handcrafted rings and buying directly from the artist. Also, a lot of people aren’t into them, but raw/uncut diamonds are beautiful and arguably more ethical.

Most jewelers will buy diamonds back at the retail price because they literally don't lose value.....It's why I was able to return my engagement ring with only a loss on the band.
