OH GOD IS THIS HOW THE FANS FELT 18 YEARS AGO!?!???! Pacing was better in the original series and even if fights lasted a long time, we'd get more fighting in the first five episodes than what we're getting in DBS. CorbeauKarasu Posted July 16, 2017 Share Posted July 16, 2017 and, i gotta say, I really miss the days when, if the enemy was too powerful, the strongest guy and the second strongest guy would team up to stop him. like, i loved the cell saga, but it seemed pretty clear to me that if they'd done away with the tournament pretense, they could have ganged up on Cell and won fairly easily. Gohan and Goku leading the pack, Vegeta and Trunks picking up the slack (probably would have been enough to win), and Piccolo & the rest providing cheap shots and distractions to draw Cell's attention.
