mochi
cause I did just before after spending all day at the Gay Pride Festival I came home and passed out asleep, then woke up at 10 or so in a panic and hid under the covers until I realized I had no idea why I was afraid
Ric
Can't say I have. I've jolted my self awake a few times and didn't know why but go right back to sleep.

mochi
That happens to me sometimes. I hate it. my only theory as for why I sometimes wake up afraid and don't know why must be that I had a bad nightmare, but don't remember it, but retain the fear

GunStarHero
Had it happen a couple times, but I don't think it meant anything. First time was because, at some point in the night I guess I fell off the bed and wound up on the floor all the way across the room. That freaked me the fuck out at first. Second time was after I had been unable to fall asleep for 7 and a half days. Finally passed out on day 8 and woke up 2 days later like I was a crazy person. Took awhile to register I had just slept through two days of my life.

Once you hit that wall and you just kinda...exist. Just super sluggish and zombie-esque. Also sleep paralysis sucks.
NaBarney
cause I did just before after spending all day at the Gay Pride Festival I came home and passed out asleep, then woke up at 10 or so in a panic and hid under the covers until I realized I had no idea why I was afraid I woke up in a panic after pride and was freaking out for a few minutes, but that was bc I got home that evening tired drunk and sunburned and when I woke up my phone was dead and wouldn't take a charge from my shitty charger and I had no idea what time it was (no clocks in the house) and I had to be at work by midnight. Thought it was like 3am, ended up only being 10:30pm.
Rogue_Alphonse
I jolt awake all the time as I am falling asleep because my body never wants to shut down; and I have woken up crying a few times.
