RPM Jr. Posted June 18, 2017 Share Posted June 18, 2017 He died when I was a freshman in high school. A lot of my friends and fellow classmates at the time were fans. I wasn't in to hip hop or gangsta rap at the time, but I knew the world lost an incredibly gifted artist. Frankly, I often wonder what might have been had both he and Biggie survived. I often watch Empire and look at Terrance Howard's character, Lucious Lyon, and wonder if either one of the two fallen icons of the '90s hip hop scene would've become like Lucious had they lived.
