I'm fine! Those lights aren't strong. It was like a tingling in my finger while I struggled to unplug the wire and I even stopped and looked at my hand when the thought, "Am I being electrocuted?" finally reached me. Sure enough! Touching me some metal filament!

THAT'S NOT SHORT! At least not from my perspective. I'm not crazy enough to go out on a ladder because I randomly "get" vertigo...or I should say I occasionally have episodes with little warning. So I do the outlined-window thing from the inside. The front of my house is facing my neighbor's house because in 1912 my neighbor's house wasn't there but instead a road and a bit of hill before the next house. The back of my house has three french doors overlooking a small hill and a main road, so I hang those fairy-curtain type lights in those doors. And then candles in all the upstairs windows, which is kind of a theme in this neighborhood with all the old houses. But are they still lit is the question.

Meh, wouldn't be the first time I've electrocuted myself 😅 Although the other two times I was using other people's stuff. One was hanging a lantern that a classmate had made when I was on the Lighting crew and the other was plugging in a curling iron for my mom in a bathroom at a campsite. The iron was a scary one...I went to plug it in and my hand clamped around the damn thing, I wasn't even touching the prongs or anything, still not sure what happened but thankfully the outlet was one of those outlets with the surge protectors on it so it only lasted for a couple of seconds. It's super weird not being able to let go, like my hand didn't belong to me. Although that's the closest I've come to having super human strength very tight grip.
