  1. More authentic than your usual stuff. Have you tried putting it to a rhythm?
  2. They didn't. You said as much.
  3. No, he didn't just quote my post, he edited it. I suspect he was referring to the somewhat impersonal tone of the word mate, which tends to be clinical.
  4. Arguably, dating sites became necessary as people seemingly lost the interpersonal skills to interact. That's not to say there hasn't always been those people who can't or just won't interact, but it was always somewhat expected that those people could benefit from therapy. Online dating started almost as a novelty, not as a serious means of matching compatible people. Then the likes of match.com and eharmony started to push their services as a way of helping these "lost" single people find the perfect match without having to directly interact, and the perception became that this was an acceptable alternate to a face-to-face interaction. However, none of these sites have ever addressed the pitfalls of being unable to read body language and vocal inflection when in close proximity.
  5. That's the leaf, not the bean, bro.
  6. Well, since the hotel didn't give it to you per se, the difference is that one is a donation and one is outright felony theft.
  7. So is Scooby. He's annoyed that you insist on playing this stupid fucking game and expect us to care.
  8. I was talking about doing it as a business, not as weekend project.
  9. 113? Isn't the real Kenny a smoker?
  10. I hadn't really thought about that: it is something else to be messing around with people who are serious about finding a mate. I don't really know if Zeni is a genuine misogynist, but he didn't seem to be on Discord. He does seem to have a drinking problem, though, and maybe this whole persona is something of rebellion against larger social forces. For instance, he rails against shallow women, yet when he actually gets attention from a woman who is obviously shallow he seems to play along. Also, anyone on OK Cupid has to expect guys like Zeni. Online dating is impersonal and more-or-less defeatist for those looking for an actual mate.
  11. That's cool and all, but you're going to need a finish carpenter to help engineer that.
  12. I didn't know the Salvation Army stole from tourists.
  13. I'll bet you didn't claim all the shit you stole from suitcases as income, though.
  14. 4 My great great grandfather brought his family of musicians here from Bari.
  15. This'll be great! Now when you visit, you can steal other old people's shit from the dumpster without fear of repercussion. Ebay will never have seen the likes of crap transistor radios and cheap furniture!
  16. Lol. That only make him stronger......
  17. Kenny (1938 Packard) bumped it. A fitting introduction on his part.
  18. Sure it doesn't. I completely understand why you slow pitch topics: that way when you realize you've got no chance you can pretend you werent having a serious discussion, just making your oldtimey goofball observations as you shoot possums off your back porch.
  19. At the arena tonight. Shit beer is too expensive to get fucked up on. Feelz bad man.
  20. I wouldn't say my internal clock is that precise. It's hard to say given I rarely change my patterns, but the few times I do I tend to be at least somewhat disoriented without a clock.
  21. This thread in a nutshell: old white guy doesn't get why hate crime status exists. It doesn't surprise me, mind you, because you've proven over the years that you're blind to secondary consequences. Still, you of all people should remember when the civil rights act was passed and what the United States was like fifty years ago. At one point, relatively minor crimes could be used to intimidate people of color. The definition of who can be intimidated has legal expanded over the years, but the intent never changed: hate crimes exist to prevent a systematic expulsion of undesirable groups through fear and implied threat. As you can quite plainly see, a bunch of delinquent bullies misdirecting their frustration on an unfortunate victim does not rise above the usual charges of assault and kidnapping just because the victim was white and some anti Trump slogans were used. I'm sure a vindictive prosecutor can use the code to enhance the charges because the law has to be written broadly to be effective, but the supporter is still right. This isn't part of some kind of war against whites.
  22. 's up, Boss?
  23. I always thought my brother was Gen Y, but it turns out he could be considered a Gen X too. It never really made sense we wouldn't be in the same generation being so close together.
  24. Not what Zeni thinks it is.
