I like the new form for the most part. It's a huge improvement over Super Saiyan God, but the eyes shouldn't be the same color as the hair.

Gundam IBO was decent, and only the second Gundam series I haven't hated. Mikazuki was refreshing as a Gundam main character. So, I don't mind this pick-up. They've gotten the sequel season for just about every other series they've aired, so I think they are just finishing up IBO with this. I wouldn't get used to Gundam appearing on a regular basis on Toonami any time soon. Either way, Demarco's vaunted Permanent Gundam Slot is a bust.

What a coincidence. I've been binging CinemaSins videos for the past couple days! That video hit the nail on the head with just about everything. I'm never going to get over the teacup cutting Kaneki's hand. Like seriously does the author just forget his own lore? They introduce a fuckton of characters one after the other without developing them. If the show is cutting all this stuff from the manga and rushing through the material, why not cut all these extra pointless characters? So ONE EYED OWL is probably the Anteiku Owner (still don't know his name). I thought this might be the case, but the show completely abandoned everything going on in the episode before the season finale, so... Like Daos said, the whole "anti-discrimination" message of the show is mind-numbingly stupid from the get go. FEEL SORRY FOR MONSTERS THAT EAT PEOPLE. Wow, there's actually people in the comments section defending this shit. So there's some Twilight Zone out there where people actually do like this show. I mean, I knew it had to be true, because it was "top requested" and is super-popular, but to actually see it... Yeah yeah, I know Youtube comments are the asshole of the internet, but I couldn't resist! Plus, not all channels' viewers are horrible. Some have a dedicated viewerbase that are actually pretty decent. It's clear this particular video brought out the Tokyo Ghoul fanboys though.

I couldn't figure out where the ratings were on their website. The "brilliant" HxH only one decimal point higher than Naruto? LOOOOOOOL. I think many anime fans must grade high, or are very generous. Did you see GXP? It was pretty horrid, and the ratings were so bad it got down-slotted heavily pretty quickly, which almost never happens. Still, the kind of badness in that show I don't think is the same kind here. That show knew what it was. Tokyo Ghoul is just an endless series of baffling incompetent decisions. Hmm, most coal miner's probably hate coal, and coal mining. Pretty much every movie, book, or documentary deals with how horrible it is to be a coal miner. They do it because it pays well. I get what you're saying, though. Main character (can't remember his name at the moment, maybe that's a good thing) was shown to be a technophobe who hated coils, so it doesn't make much sense for him to do a job that surrounds him with them. That might be because barely any of it was translated at the time. Which probably isn't a good sign, either, LOL. But apparently, the anime compressed a fuckton of chapters into those episodes, like some ungodly amount. Still, I can't imagine how that story would be much better or make much more sense if had a lot more room to breathe.
