  1. "This is terrible." You talking about the show, old man? They took out an entire base and took over a ward. What do you THINK their strategy is? Oh look it's the Ghoul Akatsuki. God damn it, don't tell me they're trying to redeem Rize now. Why didn't he tell him Rize is dead? Okay this is character overload and it's just the 10th episode. Wow this guy is a nasty stereotype. Jason kills for the lulz. Ok then. Still wish he wore the mask more often. I thought Jason was part of another faction... Oh hey it's Toka's brother who is evil because reasons. Stop trying to humanize Mado, show. You just said you weren't going to rescue him, old man. Oh forget it. Fffffffuuuuuuck that guy's still alive?! And they have to work with him?!
  2. He grabbed someone else too. Who was it? Another secret Titan shifter?
  3. Definitely some MMA stuff going on here. Not a fan of the sport but it works well here and I like the strategy and tactics. Reinforcements on the way. Last thing we need is that Beast bastard to show up right now. Oh he's moving into the range of the Colossal. Of course.
  4. Gotta say I am surprised that the Colossal and Amored Titans are just scouts. Figured the former would be the leader and the latter an important officer. Reiner as the Armored Titan, fine. It's a good twist. But Colossal is this Berthold guy? I don't even know/remember who he is! At least pick a significant character, jeez. Attack him between his armor plates. Connie is in denial, haha. Angry Eren is back lul. Fucking constant flashbacks. Is this show incapable of having character development that isn't retroactive? Yup brute force won't work here.
  5. Proper fighting venue alright... I would've liked to seen how the Majin mark appeared. Probably "burns" in, I imagine? Hmm, the blue SS2 energy bolts are red now. Is that due to the Majin influence? Did you think they would've died of old age by now, Hercule?
  6. Goku - Stop using recycled animation in your attacks Gohan! Heh, Dabura said "sword!" when he summoned it in the original series. So, Super Saiyan hair can be cut. But wouldn't it change back to its original color after it got chopped off? Well, that escalated quickly. Dabura, basically the Devil, is a good and quick judge of character. LOL the Kais couldn't beat Buu, like that means anything. Heart of pure evil. When Vegeta first appeared as a Super Saiyan, which takes a pure heart to achieve - My heart IS pure.... pure evil.
  7. In the movie he got laid out by a surprise cheap shot by Frieza. Does this show hate Gohan or what?
  8. You guys really need to see Resurrection F if you haven't. This is shit compared what we got there.
  9. Ok big changes here. Piccolo fought the red guy. Purple guy was killed by Frieza at the beginning of the movie. Gohan got hit by Frieza, not the purple guy. So basically, Super makes Gohan look 100 times worse here.
  10. In the movie Tien also tells Yamcha to stay behind, but at least there's an explanation for Buu's absence here. Yeah pretty sure none of this stuff with Krillin having issues fighting happened. How much more can Gohan be downgraded? I thought those of mixed Saiyan heritage were supposed to have more potential than pure Saiyans, unless I just imagined that. Either way it doesn't matter if you slack off with your training! Holy crap this fighting sucks horribly compared to the movie.
  11. Oh. Well the titles and stuff makes it confusing. Can't say I make a point to watch much anime comedy, as the comedy in anime can be very hit or miss. But, if the show is making fun of otakus as opposed to pandering to them, like it seems to be doing, I might check it out.
  12. Cool, I probably won't use it, though. I make a point to only post during commercials, so I don't miss anything in the shows. I wouldn't have time to also comment in a chat room.
  13. Basically, stay out of Babbling Rants, and you're good.
  14. But he didn't threaten anybody, and he's not in the Toonami/Anime sections.
  15. He was talking about the chat rooms people forgot about, not the boards.
  16. The one you linked? Alright, just watched it. While I agree that the mangaka workload and schedule is ridiculous, having no place in modern society, and I appreciate him shining a spotlight on Kubo's issues with his editors and the magazine, I don't agree with a lot of the other stuff he said. Sure, some plot points and character archetypes might be repetitive (I believe the latter was deliberate as Kubo would often match-up characters with similar or opposite personalities and beliefs in fights), but I don't agree with the world being hollow or that Kubo "stopped giving it his all." I really enjoy the lore and world of Bleach. It's got some really interesting and creative stuff in there. For example, the Soul Society combines feudal Japan with ghoulish stuff like out of Beetlejuice. Then he brings up examples. Naruto's "world" is a bunch of villages that look identical with rare exception, and forests. The story has been repeating the same Sasuke bullshit, multiple characters being "just like Naruto", among other things, for a while now. So if we want to blame repetitiveness, and a decline in quality for loss in popularity, how do you explain Naruto? Would also like to mention that Bleach was still selling really well, even if it wasn't as much as it once was, and I feel there's a whole lot of BS to that supposed "ranking" thing. One Piece has an interesting world and deep world, yes, but it's not repetitive? There's nothing formulaic about its story arcs? Really? I mean, I enjoy One Piece, but I'm not going to pretend there isn't a very noticeable pattern there. Luffy, among others, hasn't really changed much as the story has progressed, but I don't feel that characters need to change to be enjoyable or interesting. Not all people change in real life, after all. I agree with him on Ichigo to an extent, though. I like him enough, don't hate him or anything, but I can only count one person that I'm aware of in my experience with the fandom that considers him their favorite character. Not a good sign. I also agree that the art was getting confusing in some of those pages in the last arc.
  17. Hahaha, Rukia and Ichigo both had their own harems as the series went along, and I'm sure they weren't the only ones. Why does Ichigo have to pick one?! Hell, how do we know Ichigo, Orihime, Rukia, and Renji aren't having four-ways while Yuzu watches from the Rukia Closet? Kubo never said those relationships were monogamous! Imagining this helps salvage the ending.
  18. Hum, well that doesn't sound good. Certainly not at all like the quality of story and pacing in the first season. I'll have to see what it's like for myself, whenever I get around to reading the manga or whenever the next season comes out, whichever comes first.
  19. OwlChemist81[/member] what the fuck are you doing?
  20. It doesn't feel like much has happened.
  21. Death Note was a good show but not really action, so not sure why it was on Adult Swim Action. So yeah Stein's Gate wouldn't be a good idea. Hesitant to watch that though because there seems to be endless series in that semicolon franchise and I don't know how they all fit together. It sure sounds dumb as hell. But if it doesn't take itself seriously and try to pander to otakus and is actually funny than maybe there's some merit there.
  22. Oh yeah. I suppose I should be able to relate to that.
