That colony laser should have killed everybody, or at least Riddhe. Banagher and several other "good guys" are annoying as fuck, but we're supposedly supposed to like them. But Riddhe? Are we really supposed to forgive all his bullshit just like that? Please. Nevermind his motivations and most of what he did made no sense, and he wasn't the only one. The box was bullshit. How was anyone supposed to know that Newtypes could come into existence before the fact? And why would anyone get special powers just from living in space? And why should they be given preferential treatment in running the government? That's some kind of divine rule bullshit. What makes you think they were taken into custody? Noa gave them some stern remarks. That's about it. I didn't see anyone get rounded up and hauled off. That was whatever. The Newtype stuff is silly. It was nice to see Marida though again, I guess. Still think her taking forever to die and give a separate parting speech to everyone as a ghost was silly, though. When did that happen? All we saw was him turn back to normal and disable the enemy fleet with some overpowered ability. The show forgot to wrap things up and give some semblance of an epilogue. Either that or the writers just threw their hands up. How much total time have Banagher and Audrey spent together anyway?

And this show was supposed to make us want to watch more?

But this installment didn't even end. We don't know what happened to any of the characters. They found the box and read the contents and the show was just lolthatsit.

Care to summarize? Because people that have seen previous UC stuff have said the same thing. Not sure what you're basing that on. It sounded more to me like he was being insubordinate. And what of Albert? It would have been nice if we saw what happened to the characters after the fact, instead of the show just ending in the middle of it like that. It seriously feels like an episode was dropped or Toonami cut something.

They're pulling the same mistake they did with Attack on Titan and I'm afraid it's going to cost us dearly again. Last week's block bombed badly in the ratings already. It's a real waste. They should've used that slot for a new show instead of just running Jack into the ground.
