  1. nice try cookie monster
  2. According to Toriyama the norm was to hit it and quit it. Vegeta and Bardock staying with their partner apparently wasn't the norm. Also added that the only reason Goku is still with Chichi is that she won't leave his house. Goku more or less got tricked with the promise of food. Coincidentally though she was the strongest female on earth till android 18 was introduced. Also not counting that giant guardian that Grandpa Gohan hooked up with, because dibs. I have a theory that bulma's blue hair might have been a draw for Vegeta. On a subconscious level he probably saw it as SSG . Goku will probably have to find a new house though if the U6 saiyans ever show up.
  3. I'm sure there are other ways
  4. As it's Dragons Dogma 0 to 70% of the cast. The game picks your beloved based on the number of quests you've done for them. If you do full questlines though it will go with whoever was the most recently finished.
  5. Bllmasterz either needed to go further with trying to tell a story or further with trying to be a parody of anime. It kinda stopped half way on both which made it kinda fail at doing anything properly. It's a series that actually would have been well received by anime fans I believe had it come out in like 2008. At this point it's just making very obvious and dated references. Gravity Falls had an episode that dealt better with anime and Dating Sims and that aired in 2014. It did all of that referencing right and even did subtle shit like having badly translated piss yellow subs. Amazing world of Gumball even did fanfic and anime references better than ballmasters. Probably because it would commit to doing a satire more on the fandoms, and not just like oh Vampire Hunter D, Sailor Moon, dating sims, Jojo etc are things that exist. That is very early Family/Robot Chicken styles of humor that don't work today. Like they would make a Kiss, transfromers, or Star Wars joke just by mentioning that they were a thing and that was the extent of the joke. It was a time when nerds were happy to get any pop-culture recognition. This has been something that those shows were made fun of for, for probably the last 8 years. So the fact that this had to pass some hands at AS/T and everyone felt it was good enough makes me think even more on how out of touch with not just anime but comedy the staff is.
  6. I don't know if Kekkaishi was ASA or Toonami. I know some people freak out when you mix them up, but to me ASA is the same thing as toonami. Either way GIJoe was more of an attempt to fill air time. I don't know if they even had to pay for it at the time, because they had access to a lot of old series though CN. We could even say in that regard that shows like Space Ghost CTC/Cartoon Planet weren't much different. TG has it's fans, and I think they expected it to be a big name series. I do remember a lot of the hype around it at the time. Though it was also around the time where liking shows with "edge" became cringe. DW I really don't know what they were thinking with that show. I remembered them giving it a lot of press though before it aired, then was about as memorable as Pilot Candidate or super milk chan.
  7. Talk about grilling/smoking/BBQ Bought a new smoker and grill. I had been using an old Treager for years. I'm such a hipster fuck that I bought one for cheap before they ever became popular. It's at the point where things are going wrong with it, and the help line is worthless due to my grill being an outdated model. Pretty much parts needed would be both expensive and may not even work correctly in the older model. So out of spite I spent even more on some weber stuff; with the justification that I have gift cards and rewards to cover over half of the investment. I went with the 22'' Kettle Premium and the 22'' Smokey Mountain Cooker largest one in pic below. I was thinking about going with some sort of offset cooker; however all of the sub $600 ones were either garbage or out of stock everywhere. Also I figured that it will be better to have two things that are specifically made for each function than one thing that will half ass either. That being said you can technically grill in the SMC and Smoke in the Kettle, but it would be more work to pull off; ie I don't want to get on my knees to grill using the SMC and when I do smoke I do large amounts of meat which would be more than the Kettle could properly maintain. If I were going for a prebuilt offset though I would have probably gone for the Kingsford Stockade 49''. The Dynaglo offset is also good, but you'd need a lot more modding to seal it up. In the future I may build an offset out of brick.
