I agree. I’m very disappointed in these results especially since he took the popular vote as well. More importantly I fully expect to lose some drug assistance payments I get if Musk pulls the plug on any of those programs. My only hope is NYS will pick up the slack or I’ll have to pay a copay. That or beg the drug company to please give me the medication for free/lowcost

I think there’s a fundamental misunderstanding of how the language works. From what I was seeing on these groups it really was insulting. I didn’t see many saying “it doesn’t bother me”

I’m not even surprised. I thought maybe I was finding outlier groups but after the 4th and 5th one I was like, nope, majority must really hate it.

Also the problem is democrats and the more left should listen to people when they say they don’t like something. Example, I been learning Spanish for a few years (no i am not fluent) and in every single Spanish learning language group I am in the people hated being called LatinX but AOC insisted on saying it and everyone was like “well if the Puerto Rican woman said it’s ok…” no they hated the term so much and were offended by it. Most felt like North Americans (US Specifically) was trying to tell them how to speak and demonizing their language because words have gender. They absolutely hated it. Another thing is people keep saying Latino as a race but it’s not. In many countries they have White/Black/ Indigenous racial dynamics and it comes with all the awful stuff or most of it like anything else We also need to stop accusing everyone of being sexist racist and homophobic because it’s not working. Trump and Musk are born from that shit. Idk what the alternative is but shit gotta change or democrats won’t win another election. They also gotta go on more social media shows or podcasts or wtf the kids call them well that’s a part of my long winded uneducated take on A COUPLE of reasons why we are here.
