I've been binge watching Venture Bros on hulu for the past few days. I'm still pretty much in denial about it being totally gone. They raise a good point about the "series finale" being incredibly wrong for the show. As much as i'd love to see some closure (any closure) i don't think it'd be possible to wrap up everything in an hour long special in a way that would be satisfying. They need to make a comic series. 100%. I think the show would work really well in that medium anyway.

You may or may not remember, but when I started with the organization I was working at that location. And there was another leader there that made the whole place a living hell. I transferred to my current location and have been loving it (for the most part) ever since. Well, my leader approached me yesterday to say that the asshole got fired. And she really feels like I'm ready to move into his role. It's a more specialized position, pays more, although it'd probably be less responsibility than I have now given the fact that I currently have to be proficient in floor, production, office and intake tasks whereas this position is strictly floor and office-based. I'd also have to probably give up the semi-specialized position I have at my current location but that's pretty much just modified production with no pay increase anyways. It would be nice to make more than $14.99 an hour though. Drawbacks include the infrastructure of that location- it's not the worst one I've worked at but it's nowhere near what I'm used to here. There's also that white supremacist in the intake department who likes picking fights with me but without the other asshole there to gang up on me that shouldn't be as much of a problem. Oh also they keep getting covid there because their userbase is all spiteful old fucks (this is where someone blew their nose and handed the tissues to one of the workers on friday) also they don't take the epidemic as seriously as we do at our location. Nah my folks are like 50 and i have one living grandparent (that i'm aware of). The thought that spawned this was back when we got our first doggo the route to the humane society went past the road my grandparents lived on. Didn't go down the road to see if the place was still even there. Sometimes I wonder.

God damnit. So schedules were all wonky this week with closing for another store and one of our leaders being out for PTO. So they had me working his noon to 8:30 shift tonight. Well they re-shuffled me back to regular schedule and got somebody else to work that close. This change was not updated on the schedule. So i got a call @ 8:45 this morning telling me I was late. Goddammit. Called the boss and she takes 50/50 blame on it and said don't rush to get in. I also have two hours i have to shave off today so i don't get OT.

Yep dropped another .0002 on the hydrometer. Well hey we'll see what next week brings. Tried the fortified one too, its in the same boat. Still barely getting any cranberry out of it. Pretty sweet, a lot of tannins in both of them, maybe not enough acids? Sitting here thinking about adding more cranberry juice. Gotta knock that shit off. Stop fucking with it. Let it finish.

So that neighbor that got arrested outside my house traded out the "blue lives matter" flag for the swastika one today.
