Who's playing dumb? I'm merely saying that if you excise the entire musical portion, change the lyrics and just tack on a different refrain or some extra flourish, you aren't sampling. Hendrix "Star Spangled Banner", not sampling. Vanilla Ice excising the baseline riff from "Under Pressure", sampling (and annoying). Even further back than the 60s. there's the whole composer's doing "Variations on a theme by [some other composer]" thing. Which is similar to a Jazz musician riffing on some previously recorded song. I still haven't picked out where The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" is sampling ""Last Time" by the Rolling Stones. But it isn't one of my favorite Stones songs anyway.

Exactly how is that song a "sample"? He uses the entire musical portion, not just a "sample".

The guy that ripped off Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise", then got upset when Weird Al ripped off "Gangsta Paradise" to make "Amish Paradise".

It was in the fine print of the votes they cast to become part of Russia.

Not sure about the Russian business model: First we're going to piss a bunch of people off at us by conscripting them into a hot war. Then we're going to hand them loaded weapons or put them in armed tanks.

96% of the 18% they were successful in coercing into voting.

In another video taken by a Russian soldier, he showed the AKs they were given...all rusty.

And ABC reported they're showing the residents what box to check...

Yep, all over the Chicago news - the Huckster claimed the Chicago Trump tower was "worthless" for tax purposes, but was also using it for collateral for loans. The only thing "worthless" about it was the name on the Tower.

How to release a number of agents into another country. 1) Create a pretext for conscription. 2) Allow tons of "citizens" to flee the country. 3) Imbed agents within the fleeing horde. 4) Why you looking here, there's no number 4. 5) PROFIT!!!

Would you please fill this out & send it? Tell Congress to take action: Food banks are at a breaking point! More and more people across the country are turning to food banks for help. In some places, the demand for food is back up to the record highs we saw at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. But food banks are at a breaking point. The support they need, including individual donations and government assistance, is dwindling, while the demand for and cost of food rises. Write to Congress and say: Provide the full authorized $100 million for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) storage and distribution funding so food banks can keep their shelves stocked and give food to every person who comes through their doors. Your letter will automatically be delivered to your lawmakers in the United States Congress.
