I was thinking about a mound of dirt. To elevate the planting ground. You should be fine with a little elevation. A little extra water isn't going to kill the garden.

Sweet. We just got our vacuum sealer. And it works amazingly. So, this summer, we will be freezing a ton of produce. The vacuum sealer is a very handy tool. We plan to can some things as well this year. Gardening is enjoyable.

I would imagine being that close to wetlands, your soil is rich. You could produce a hell of a garden.
