sports NFL Season 20-21: Covid Edition
jayrider128 replied to Sawdamizer's topic in General Discussion
Fire everyone but Jamison Crowder. I have him on my fantasy team hehe. -
He played in such a different league too. Agreed on the rest. I'm thinking Megatron will get in too, besides Jerry Rice, I've never seen a more dominant receiver.
-
lol, sorry i jumped the gun.

Peyton Manning isn't a hall of famer? what? Dude has one horrendous game and that disqualifies his whole career? Also just out of curiosity what game did he turn the ball over 6 times? I don't doubt you just wondering. Maybe his last year Im guessing when he was unbearable to watch.
-
I still can't believe Henry Ellard isn't in. lol, Jake Delhomme, he was a solid QB for like a 5 year stretch, but thats crazy.
-
This whole season has been whack. The great debate has been lately is Giannis more Mike or Scottie, I see more Mike personally. He is in the prime of his career, and has accomplished a good amount with this small market team. Just gotta keep stabbing at the prize, with your above average chess pieces. Always hard to win a chip.

My C's make it to the final four!! Miami should take care of us though sadly LA VS LA will obviously be the must watch though.
-
Depends ya know?

The Lake show played different last night, fantastic intensity. After last nights showing everyone may be back on the Lakers, but the Blazers shot the ball horrendously last night, so I can see a bounce back in a big way. I live in lil ol Maine, so I'm a default C's fan, and have been very happy with the play. But I wont read to much into it because of how big of a joke the 76ers are right now. Disappointing how lame the Heat Pacers series is so far, I thought those teams matched up pretty well. Happy Playoffs everyone!

Thanks dawgs!! Appreciate it!!

Pfffft, you just hit me with a fat stat. In defense of Ben Simmons, he is super dynamic, and honestly if he never gets a shot, i feel like that might be ok. But I know a lot of people think he needs that for Philly to be a bonafide contender, but maybe he is just what is he is ya know? We shall see.

Didn't watch the San Antonio vs New Orleans pelicans game. I heard Zion balled out tho, cooooooooool.

I feel ya dude! Mike Brown is up there with Dan Snyder as one of the worst owners in the league imo, so I hope Joe overcomes the struggle. Maybe AJ Green comes back and Joe can have him and Tyler Boyd to start off with his NFL career. Thatd be nice. -

Well you can't compare Aaron Brooks to modern numbers because he played in the era where you could still play defense in the early 2000's. -

I've said this in a previous post before but I always thought he was career average QB, sorta in the mold of an Aaron Brooks or a Matt Stafford. You put a solid team around those guys, you can def win. How far though absolutely varies, we all know throughout history is that you have an exceptionally better chance of going all the way with an elite QB. These championship games are gonna be alot of fun! -

God, if Tennessee pulls out an upset against Kansas City, it'll be one of the the craziest things I have ever seen. Going on the road to beat New England, Baltimore, and than possibly KC. Nuts. I wonder what kind of payday Ryan Tannehill will get. Though from what I heard hes expected to be franchise tagged. -
Cool post! I wish someone would give TJ a another chance, I watched him from time to time and thought he was a pretty good NFL talent, haven't really heard much from from him since he left Jacksonville. I think, maybe im wrong, he was active maybe one game this year?? Maybe just a workout I read. And Oh goshh! You played with CJ! you lucky SOB!!! And lol Ryan played football, nice. That's assuming we are talking about the same person who plays in the NBA. Would love to hear the piss story haha.

Haven't talked NFL in quite some time, pretty excited. TEN VS NE: As a sad Buc's who lives in Maine i gotta go with TEN. I always thought Ryan Tannehill was sort of an Aaron Brooks/ Matt Stafford type of QB who if you put in in the right situation can be pretty competent, and gosh darn it Derrick Henry is a man among of boys. Being able to watch every Pats i gotta say, though i cant't excuse Brady for being ancient, but on any giving day the Pats can still become the Pats. Still, I think Vrabel has this one. Houston Vs Buffalo: I have Buffalo beating Houston because of that dominant defense, do I like D Watson, sure, but I just continue to have this vibe Houston is a solid regular season team that has to prove to me, (not like they have actually have too lol) that they can be a Superbowl caliber team. Still, don't really have much of a feeling in this game as either team can certainly win. Min Vs NO: Saints have this one. The Vikings have been killed by injures lately, and lets be frank here, good ol Kirk Cousins is allergic to prosperity. Philly vs Seattle: Totally have Seattle here. Though Carson Wentz has done as much as any QB can expect to with a horrific supporting cast, their luck runs out here. I don't love Seattle as a big contender because of a weak Defense and and being killed by RB injures, but the Hawks go as far as Wilson takes them. I know I'm just supposed to make my picks and move on, I couldn't find the NFL discussion thread like I remember posting in last year. Super sorry if this long and annoying anddddd unnecessary, I'm really happy I could talk NFL with yalll!!!!! Happy Playoffs everyone!!! Edit: Found the discussion, oh well too late.

sports FOOTBALL 2018: THE UN-TRUMPENING
jayrider128 replied to 1pooh4u's topic in General Discussion
The Hernandez card . But yea your right they screwed up there, royally. He basically has a whole Wiki page dedicated to his legal problems since high school. Since him, the Pats have been much more careful. And it wasn't really DV with him as much as fights, and possible connections to shootings. -

I will be absolutely shocked if they touch him. Kraft is no nonsense on DV. Plus they don't need him with promising rookie Sony Michel, and fantastic passing catch back James White.
