I think we should make this an album elimination game:
The Doors - 10
Strange Days - 10
Waiting For The Sun - 10
The Soft Parade - 10
Morrison Hotel - 10
L.A. Woman - 10
In a world where Mr. Robot can lose more than a million viewers from Suits and not be cancelled, I think Toonami (and DeMarco's job) is perfectly fine.
CN is using the 4Kids approach in both the advertising and content of their shows (obnoxious, in-your-face, audience pandering), which is super odd considering CN's style was the total opposite of that 15 years ago and got 5X the ratings.
I've made the decision to drop Shippuden and watch One Piece at my own pace.
Life's too short for dealing with bullshit. 2.5 hours of decent anime on TV is plenty for my eyes.
I think I know what the problem is...
The loss of Bleach. Bleach fans usually tend to at least be casual anime fans, so that audience would easily bleed into the subsequent shows. However, once Kai got situated for a few months and all the Bleach fans left, the retention started to become god awful as a good chunk of normie DBZ viewers are only in it for DBZ and dip.
Saw the first two episodes.
I never really comment on things like this as I like to focus on the artistic merits of a series first, but the girls on this show are SO. FUCKING. HOT.
If only my penis could time travel.
They were marathoning the entire 1st season on Showtime earlier.
It's in my DVR. Hopefully I'll spend either tomorrow or Monday getting familiar with it.
Oddly I haven't gotten more than 2 inches here yet.
Which is good, I'm not trying to deal with another massive snowfall until I can afford a snowblower (or one of those heated mats to put on pavement).
