The series is the real deal, and with perfectly legible English subtitles too, but the episodes were clearly ripped from Japanese television with the station's watermark blurred out, which explains why there was no dub to be found on the discs. Not the "in memoriam to the KyoAni staff we lost this year" watch experience I was hoping for, but whatever.

But we do have the Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe OVAs to consider, and if they get dubbed, they'll definitely need to find a replacement voice for Rohan. I'm thinking either Todd Haberkorn or Xander Mobus.
