You can blame Netflix for the following: Taking shows Toonami could air. Offering an alternative platform that isn't a super niche model that non-weebs have actually heard of. Investing a ton of money in original productions. Making Jason DeMarco buttmad. You can't blame them for these decisions: Airing Hiatus x Hiatus. Promotion or lack thereof. Scheduling. Jason DeMarco always being mad at something.

More likely DeMarco sends out feelers to the dubbing companies and Netflix jumps on anything they believe will make a good fit for their block with more money and promises of promotion.
