  1. The political conspiracy plot wasn't a winner for me. We introduced a bunch of new stuff and answered some of those questions but in the process got a bit convoluted and never really got back around to actually getting to Eren's basement. Annie's still enjoying her years in the crystal? Beast Titan from S2... at least he got a cameo. We mention Kenny for the first time about 30 seconds before he appears and blows someones head off. A side character became queen? Well at least she wasn't another Titan. Well she almost became a Titan. Eren ate his father? Mmmk. He has the "coordinate" which allows him to control every Titan? Alright. The founding Titan erased everyone's memory? How? Snapped his fingers? Except some people aren't affected for... reasons. And if you have royal blood and inherit the power of the founding Titan you can control every Titan BUT you lose the desire to do so because you inherit the ideology of some ancient guy named Karl Fritz. K. A lot of people complained about the pacing of S1, but it worked because the payoff was always really good. Just think of all the memorable moments in S1. The Armored Titan and Colossal attacking. Eren getting eaten. Eren saving Mikasa. The first battle with Eren as a Titan. Levi squad vs Annie. Plugging the hole with a rock. Eren vs Annie in the forest. Levi vs Annie. Annie transforming into a Titan in the middle of the city. The final fight with Annie. S2 and S3 aren't anywhere near the same level as that.
  2. Sometimes it hurts to be right. Not only was it dead last but I think it was dead last by a considerable margin, yeah? I have to disagree with you there. S1 had massive appeal to the casual anime fan as well as the more dedicated anime fans. I loved S1. S2 and S3 don't have the same appeal. The slow pace, the constant flashbacks and never ending monologuing. Maybe.. 3 good action scenes spread out over 12 episodes?
  3. You know after seeing that..... if you piss one of the mods off he's going to lock you out of every thread BUT Toonami right?
  4. See... I don't think it's that. Because people were requesting TG years after it aired. All the TG fans had seen it and most were generally disappointed in the anime adaptation of S1 and S2 was almost universally loathed. So it doesn't make sense to me that they suddenly realized the anime sucks and wouldn't request S3. I also don't really buy that people were requesting Fairytail in large numbers a few years ago. I mean, it was really old at that point... the anime began airing in 2009. He either just flat out lies about this stuff or the sample size of these polls is so small that 5 people can literally determine what show makes the top 5.
  5. The only show on that list that makes sense is Goblin Slayer. How in the world could that other stuff be more requested than all that anime that are way more popular than it? The number 2 anime this season was Reincarnated as a Slime... but it doesn't make the top 5 here? No.....Gate, Overlord, Re Zero, Konosuba, Zombieland Saga... Gridman? They used to request TG a lot on here, but now the 3rd season can't make the top 5? The mysterious poll he uses gives the weirdest results.
  6. No ratings, did Owl die? So the first Ep of AOT did 309. Every other episode was 280k or lower. I believe that is easily enough to make it the new champion of low ratings.
  7. Goblin Slayer would make sense. The rest of that list.... maybe Banana Fish? Is he still getting these results from that mysterious Tumblr poll that no one uses?
  8. It's not THAT bad. It looks like an average 2005 slice of life anime. Seems perfectly healthy to me.
  9. Show me on the doll where the bad youtuber touched you.
  10. Are you kidding me that's the best CGI I've ever seen.
  11. Next thing you know they're gonna say no to Goblin rape. These people make me sick! But seriously that would be quite lame if they decided to stop getting shows for Toonami based on current events. Hey those fires in CA killed a bunch of people, I'd better not see any anime with fire in it.
  12. It's not Tuesday =P
  13. Don't watch if you don't want spoilers.
  14. Also, how could an Eromanga Sensei clone about a sister wanting to bang her brother not be good? With a setup like that it can't be bad.
  15. Is any show I've posted here not random? Plus, most of the shows I've mentioned in this thread are shows I actually liked. Million Arthur isn't some brand new thing, its a manga/ video game series dating back to 2012 with crossovers in other games. It's not some unknown property. And yes, if it's going to suck that badly I'm going to trash the hell out of it.
  16. https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2018/11/16/kill-la-kill-the-game-if-footage-shows-nonon-and-other-newcomers Talk about being late to the game.
  17. It's new. Only 3 episodes out so far. It's based on a video game and they actually do crossovers in the Neptunia games apparently.
  18. Oh and Million Arthur is possibly the worst anime ever made. I watched one episode of it and... I can't even describe how awful this thing is. You have to see for yourself. There are no words that can actually convey how bad this is. Mal currently has it ranked at 8020..... even worse than School Days and ... Super Milk Chan.
  19. Could Million Arthur be coming to Toonami????
  20. I'm calling lowest ratings ever for this marathon. Time will tell!
  21. LOLLL you're gonna be disappointed in S3.
  22. It's definitely popular, I'm not saying no one watches it. But due to its rough start it's popular in the same way Boruto is popular. People watch it, but most people kind of think of it as a joke. According to Mal Black Clover is actually slightly more popular than Boruto, so it's not like it doesn't have a fan base.
  23. Lol so two people fighting gets an entire thread shut down?
  24. Thanks, I'm an anime only dewd though.
