i learned as a kid too. then never picked it back up until a couple years ago. i only knew how to do a chain, and a double crochet. i guess i'm self taught. you should totally pick it back up. then i won't be alone.

very cool picture. i've seen cloud formations that would start that swirl...but lapse out. except when i was driving an 18' moving truck across OK. that was scary, and they formed and started shooting downward. i had a governor on the damn truck. next thing i know these 18 wheelers are passing me by. 2. then got in front of me...and one more came up from behind. another passed by and was waving like 'we got you' i was 'pulled' for about 5 miles until i could get safely under an overpass that was not yet being used.

i used to get strep at least once a year as a kid. they never took out my tonsils. assholes. but, i found when i couldn't get the chloraseptic (sp) i would gargle every couple hours or so with salt water. also, i hope you have chicken noodle soup and tea. that's about the only thing my throat would allow passage.
