So far, the WBC has been pretty fun. I actually got pumped up to see more Venezuela matches cause I saw Miguel Cabrera was one of their managers/coaches. It won’t be fun for the Seattle Mariners though. After Cal Raleigh refused Randy Arozarena’s handshake, Randy didn’t hesitate to unload on him for not putting aside the USA vs Mexico rivalry to shake a teammates hand. Greatest hits include: “The only thing he should be thankful for is having such great parents. He’s very well educated, thank God. I was lucky enough to see them a few days ago at the hotel. They came over to greet me, gave me a big hug, and were genuinely proud to see me again.” “The other thing I want to say to him, I'll tell it to him Cuban-style. What he needs to do is go fuck himself. Mexican-style: he can go fuck himself. And in English, I'm gonna say it to him in English. That 'good to see you' he gave me? He can shove it up his ass.” Cal responded to diffuse any mentions of a beef, claiming that tensions are high and he was too locked in to acknowledge opposing team’s players. But when that player also shows up on your teams, it’s hard to gauge whether the Mariners morale will be tested this season.

It drives me crazy. I’m so used to fighting games and RPGs that are between 5-40GB that by the time it starts getting to be the 70+ range, I’m wondering exactly what games I’d rather be keeping in my PC or Console. Where instead of having access to all my games, I’m having to wager whether I want to keep one of the five games taking up too much space or throw down on an external drive that can work on these systems.

It better just be a re-broadcast of the 1994 Evangelion but with two second Devola & Popola cameos in every episode. Then years later, you find out from a soon-to-be-defunct phone game that the two of them were orchestrating Instrumentality behind the scenes. Bonus points if they accelerated it by doing silly things like telling Asuka that eyepatches are cool or telling Kaworu to take piano lessons. That way, the sisters can be the reason why the Rebuild movies happened too.

I listen to newer indie music that pops up, but popular artists only slip through on occasion. Kendrick Lamar’s GNX and Lady Gaga’s Mayhem are the two biggest new albums I’ve listened to from start to finish, but both of them are still pretty established compared to Sabrina or Chappell. I think it doesn’t help that new pop music emerges from social media, and even then old music becomes more prevalent in these trends than the latest hit. Just from being on social media, I’ve heard the 2002 Italian house song “Just the Way You Are” more often than anything in the Hot 100. And when they started counting streaming numbers, it was Game Over for any new stars who’d get strangled in the crib by Taylor Swift or Drake releasing a million versions of their deluxe albums. I’m also not in the target demographic for Morgan Wallen, Benson Boone, Alex Warren, or Jellyroll, so that wipes out a good chunk of popular music made within the last couple years.

The World Baseball Classic is upon us! I’m excited to see how the Dominican and Japanese teams fare, but currently Team USA has a ton of hype around them cause they beat San Francisco in a 15-1 exhibition match. The European division is an odd one since it’s a lot more transparent that most of the players are Americans from the MLB.

The Phillies let Castellanos go into deep left field. It will be a home run, and so that'll make it a 4–0 ballgame.

The end of the 70s Charlotte’s Web. Even thinking about it makes my eyes burn a bit. I’m pretty sure the “Mo Cuishle” scene in Million Dollar Baby would still destroy me if I saw it today.

Bloodrayne 2 HD. I finally finished it and had a great time with the ultraviolence and T&A. I also got the Kingdom Hearts HD games to replay 1&3, but when I get around to it, I’ve been itching to go through DDD to see Neku and Joshua again.
