  1. Maybe this is where pot leads. Oh... but that's just anecdotal. Let's leave this one out of the statistical study. Hey, you asked why she has Christmas lights in her room. Pot smokers are attracted to shiny things.
  2. Lotsa pot. She stopped drinking ages ago, she won't smoke tobacco and yet, the pot is to her as Scooby snacks are to Scooby Doo.
  3. When casino gaming was first introduced in New Jersey, Atlantic City had an ordinance against "barkers" - people who were paid to stand outside the casinos and yell out about what's inside the casinos. Well, I guess that ordinance doesn't say anything about recordings of barkers. Go along the Boardwalk and hear giant jukebox speakers barking out about the "fabulous restaurants", etc. The Boardwalk used to be a quiet place, believe it or not. Now, it's an ocean of noise pollution, between the casino barker recordings, the beach bars and those horrible, city sponsored TV screens that are set up every hundred feet, blasting out cheesy advertisements. To Hell with this. I'm spending my next summer on the Ocean City Boardwalk.
  4. Just eat a lot of garlic.

  6. NYC is where I go twice a year. Most recently, the Chinese section of Flushing. There's an H Mart and a place called Anime Castle. The Chinatown near Little Italy is fun too but no more anime stores left. I also go to Comic Con every October.
  7. I have two cats. One is always real patient about the food. The other would wait until I roll on my back and leap onto my abs. Boom! Meow!! I'm like, Okay... gotta feed this cat before she kicks a hole in me.
  8. That's a place I always wanted to see up close. Crazy, old lady thought she was accommodating the ghosts of people killed by Winchester rifles. Ended up building a house that resembled an Escher drawing.
  9. Starring Al Gore as Gia
  10. I was there in the 1980's. And no, I didn't explore it thoroughly.
  11. 2B or not 2B... No, that's not my apartment number.
  12. Can't say I'm even familiar with that one.
  13. It's not like I had the damn time to explore San Jose when I was in CA. Place was mostly just a bus stop for me on the way to work. I went there looking for a movie theater and couldn't even find one mainstream, first run film. I ended up getting back on the bus and going to San Francisco for a movie. As for Japantown, I wasn't such a weeb back then and didn't even know about anime culture. Now, looking at the web, I can see its been there at least 100 years... just not in the part of town I was used to. And you think that makes me an idiot?
  14. Japan Town sounds pretty new. How long has it been there and is it along the 22 Santa Clara Transit bus line?
  15. Is it still the same as it ever was or does it now have something cool to check out? I mean, the town don't even have any good shopping or a real movie theater the last time I was there.
  16. Got a few questions that stump my union's business agent. Does long term wear and tear on the spine count as a work place injury? Should I be compensated? Is the employer obligated to change a few procedures because of it?
  17. Duey, Cheetham and Howe
  18. Sending email to a lawyer about my jawb.
  19. He does tell some tall tales, sometimes. It's entertainment when he does.
  20. The robot revolution ("Kill all humans", a la Terminator) will start with the "smart" sex dolls that no longer want to serve their owners. Imagine them, activating when their owners aren't home, hacking military and industrial systems... making drones... weaponizing the drones... Strange premise.
  21. A five year mission... to sell hats, t-shirts, pvc figurines, dvd box sets, wall posters and costumes.
  22. [YouTube autostart=1]
  23. Frequency range: 30 hz to 20khz
  24. Well, it ain't Guy Fieri's recipe.
  25. Home of the world's largest cockroach, measuring six inches long. I wonder why none of those have been trucked into North America along with tropical plants, coffee beans and other stuff roaches like to hide in.
