This will be the first time i watch Toonami live in my own home in 3 weeks! Sometimes I hate long trips.

The more low-key, relaxed, normal tone of Alternative doesn't make it as exciting to watch. Unfortunately the movie version in Japan wasn't well-received either. But I get the feeling these are meant to be watched in episodes anyway and Japan will run their version of the series on TV this Fall. It will be interesting to see how it does!

In a way it isn't that different. Remember, Season One had two disturbing raep scenes, and Season Two dealt with gun phobia. Mother's Rosario just continued the show's insistence that it could portray serious subjects with care when in fact they were severely inept about it.
