    Actors at Funimation have constantly said anime dub actors are paid little. "The smallest of any voice actor professions". Why do you think you discover new actors in anime only to never hear from them again a few years later, except when they're already production staff at the studio?

    I think so. They spend a ton more time in the booth doing that than for commercial ads, or edutainment videos.

    Their namesake may have happened due to them holding the rights to a handful of non-anime, which not a whole lot of people know about. Did you know you can buy a DVD set of Degrassi: The Next Generation on there!?

    Because his team is small and he is the lead of the block, the block becomes this odd mismash of constantly-evolving samplers of his very very narrow anime tastes, as well as shows he was forced to get on the block because the upper bosses told him to do it. It is BARELY host to any isekai anime despite isekai anime becoming the absolute hottest anime genre in existence. A ton of shonen and action cartoons simply cannot be shown on the block because big boy Netflix's contract grants themselves exclusive distribution, which only makes DeMarco even more defensive.

    Do you think DeMarco is aware of the chance the mistake was actually done on purpose? Or do you subscribe to the more likely theory taht he doesn't give a care and is thinking about the next breakout indie band he could feature under the Adult Swim label instead?
