Just in: Sasha making her Season 4 debut wasn't without bad news from dub fans. Since Season 3, Ashly Burch has become a union-only actor, meaning she cannot be on this dub anymore, and Sasha's remaining episodes were all filled in by Megan Shipman instead. Ashly has recently started recording as the lead role in a Disney Channel original animated series "The Ghost And Molly McGee", and Disney only hires union actors. Some outlets online are saying Ashly was just "too busy", since they have no idea how the profession works (and everyone's recording at home now so that would still be a lame excuse either way). This makes Sasha the only Attack on Titan character whose dub voice had to be replaced.

Well I''ll be. I guess you can't tell if it's union just by the state it's recorded in, because all previous Jojo dubs were done chiefly in CA too.

By that logic, wouldn't ANY dub in progress at Funimation be a disaster!? Also, FYI, a hurricane last year put our entire STATE out of power. We got it back within a week. Texas will be fine, but it may take about two weeks to recover them all, and they are bringing back power to hundreds every hour this morning, However, it could have been much much worse if they waited minutes before they did something.

There have been fan attempts at livestreaming a whole block at a set time using ripped videos of the episodes, but of course those failed either due to the fans being disinterested after a while, or they received takedown notices. A legit company doing that on a streaming service is a good idea but they'd need a way to profit from it and I don't think it will be very popular.

I keep saying Toonami should migrate to streaming in some way. WandaVision on Disney+ only releases one episode per week like Toonami does with all it shows, yet it is the most popular show on that service, and among the most popular shows on all streaming services! Of course ,getting a block onto a streaming service isn't easy because they're blocks designed to only be broadcast at a certain point of the week, and the bumps only comprise a few minutes in total each night.

The movie intentionally fills out the events happening between Seasons 1 and 2. It's canon, and is required viewing for Demon Slayer fans. By vowing never to air movies except for April Fools pranks and the occasional DC event tie-ins, Toonami has served themselves a huge disavantage.

This is the pace of the manga. I read the early chapters. So yeah i can confirm this wasn't the fault of teh anime staff.

I feel horrible for the animators. A ton of people have sent them insults online and even lambasted the still poses and how the OP is just filled with explosions instead of gripping camera pans of a fight, and yet they also said drawing the average AoT face takes twice as long to do in any other anime before! Sucks.
