Aot Season 1 was a hit, but it was .... an odd hit. When Adult Swim pushed it to the front of the block in reruns, it gave the block poor ratings to the extent that it led to the block being cut in half its length. VRV ? Not sure what it stands for. All I got was a type of cooling unit developed in Japan in 1982.

Funimation is REALLY making this premiere a big deal! They're advertising the Toonami broadcast on social media, their site, and even in their subscriber's emails, and how Bryce Papenbrook and Trina Nishimura will be live-tweeting during it!! .... this'd be the least opportune moment for Adult Swim to pull a "Rick and Morty Szechuan Sauce"!

I'm just upset that Videl's role in Super forced her into a bit role as a kind mother, almost like she was brainwashed. ... in fact, I should make a parody comic about how, in Toriyama's universe, you must be brainwashed after you marry. Her role in Kai hit all those cute tomboy buttons that I am attracted to.

There's the usual small plotholes that go with any fantasy/supernatural story asking about why powers work the way they do, such as but then again, no one has actually experienced body-swapping in real life. Otherwise it was so emotional and moving!

I do not remember competiting programming having this much affect on Toonami at this time of the year before. Then again, there appears to be more hype for the Playoffs this year particularly, and the toxic and controversial upswing of politics has given SNL some of its best ratings in years and years!!

For the first time since I can remember, the 11:30 airing of DB Super got lower than Kai! Also, Jack was hit, but only by about 100,000, which in the whole thing doesn't look too bad for it.

This just in: the entire Bleach anime can be watched legally on Steam Games!

Dub voice actors only know about the shots before and after the lines they need to dub over. To be fair, she probably doesn't even know about the kissing scene.

... the Phantom Troupe is mourning. I love how this show also presents some of the villains as actually HURTING when one of their own dies.
