We're veering into spoilers but I assume people here had already seen it or have at least known that the second half of the show is like. ... hell it was SO popular, you wouldn't MISS the twists and events going down in YOI if you were online for even 5 minutes! Yeah, that was a pretty ground-breaking turn of events! And I applaude the creator (who also directed A Woman Called Fujiko Mine and Mitchiko And Hatchin) for not following mainstream trends and writing what SHE wants to write!!

Have u seen Yuri On Ice? I JUST forgot that it has all the things Mochi's looking for! If any progressive strong themes will appear in animation, it would be in anime. I think America has a LONG way to go. Hell, in some states, wer'e heading backward....

Good point. As much as I empathize with Mochi not getting to see sometihng he's been waiting to see for so long, a show isn't just abotu only one thing.

He's a bad guy. Mochi really wants to see all that in a good guy, who isn't killed.

Hey I really like Gon and Killua! They balance the darker stuff to me. ... it's weird that I used to have a strong impression from Leorio from the 1999 anime, but here it;s like he has no real reason to be hanging out with them.

Tryin to think of a MC in a series who is gay/lesbian and isn't killed. ... the only one i can think of of Korra, but of course the network didn't allow them to write her that way and they could only imply it at the very last second.

I do find the omakes at the end funny. Well this was ..... SOMEHOW the weirdest and most twisted episode yet... and given THIS show, that is saying something.
