More anime are being made in an attempt to have universal appeal, and what a better subject matter to draw American viewers than superheroes?

I was talking about how I hate the guy who said Netflix finally made watching anime cool. Which means I'm agreeing with you, which means we're wondering about what I'm saying for no reason.

Maybe if it were colored we'd understand more about what makes him different. The rooster on his head is a bit odd, but then, Kubo has always done some things we question. Maybe this guy just loves cock over his head.

Getting a new show is expensive so I doubt they would reserve one of those slots to a one-cour show, or even two-cour, because that'd be like buying multiple shows that they probably can't afford in the long term.

One of the things I really hate about live-action adaptations of anything is that as an animator I REALLY take value in the outline direction of the forms! You. CANNOT. Replicate an anime character in live action. Period. (Attyla is getting close though) And with Rukia being one of my most beloved Bleach characters, this especially makes me miffed. ... really?? That one strand of hair just DROOPS DOWNWARD?? Not fashionable.

This puzzles me. The turn-around for an anime is the fastest I ever heard in any kind of animation, yet it still takes the length of time of a Hollywood movie production to fix something!??
