  1. You're saddled with an insurance bill on something you are not capable of living without.
  2. They didn't need to keep any tabs. They just knew for a fact that all the assignments had been completed, as demanded.
  3. There's also the Mutter College of Physicians in Philadelphia, PA.
  4. Cleaning the toilets was not my assignment. In a union house, assignments are all in a bidding process according to seniority. I never did place a bid on that one. As long as I did get all the assignments completed before clock out, my job was done and I upheld my end. Had I evaded it, the job would have ended long, long ago and there would have been no pension.
  5. Definitely the speaker. I never heard any whore moans around here.
  6. How do you know that? Have you shopped the whole state or just Boca Raton? Do you know what distressed properties are? Did you know that a house for repair is usually a lot cheaper than a turn key house? Prices in any state could vary quite widely according to the municipality or neighborhood.
  7. A forensic science student.
  8. Florida isn't the only warm climate.
  9. There will be no burial. I stated in my will that the corpse is to be donated to a body farm. The silver has gone to pay a really huge vet bill. Circumstances have a nasty habit of changing. Stay tuned.
  10. The problem with your logic is that I'm hardly what any sane and rational person would call penniless. Consider this, for instance: My lease renewal is due next month and I'm currently in a position to write one single check to pay the entire year. Can you do that with your rent or mortgage, right now?
  11. You really don't know what squalor is. Squalor was what I had back in 1984, when my rent was $60 per week and my income was $122 per week while the work wasn't even full time.
  12. Contributions to the pension program are hourly, just like the wage. How many hours do you think I put in over all this time?
  13. Maybe not. Pretty cold there most of the time. Besides, that whole LLC thing sure fell flat. It's not even there anymore. And, I want something considerably warmer.
  14. Why does it have to be in this town? It's not like I still have to commute anywhere.
  15. Show you the Zillow? Look up the term, "distressed property". They're very rare and always much lower than a standard listing.
  16. For $67k, this was a pretty decent place. A two story townhouse with a full basement and HOA.
  17. Not really... what was bought was practically turn key. Just pick the new paint color.
  18. He's going to sell that house and buy a much bigger one. He can afford it now with his new job. Me? I don't need his help. Anything $100k or less is fair game.
  19. Not every house costs half a million or more.
  20. Just bring your ear plugs when you visit here.
  21. The argument isn't who paid it, it's whose name it was in. Not his. Which means that if I see another reasonably priced house in a decent neighborhood, I can buy it.
  22. Don't have to. The floor thickness can be seen while descending the stairs.
  23. The mortgage company is that batch.
