I got a call from an indian sounding gentleman that's trying to get me an interview for this position based on my uav and cable tech experience I guess.. This link gives the job description, and how the fuck do they expect I'd know how to do any of this shit? https://apideltech.com/job-seeker/search-jobs/assembler-2nd-shift-1049012/ Sure flying/ maintaining uavs and being a cable technician means I should be able to figure out how to assemble, and paint turbine pumps no problem.. I guess since I've worked on an assembly line at a distribution center and have some technical experience they're interested? Not sure if I should even go to the interview looking at the requirements and job description myself, but I'm not the one trying to say I'm qualified lol. The guy on the phone was indian, and kept having to go "how you say.." when he was trying to explain the shit. It doesn't really seem like my type of gig. I've never heard of the company and I don't really know shit about turbine pumps, but maybe I'll find out some more info during the hiring process to change my mind who knows..

I remember responding in a simular way, and having to tell the fucker I've seen worse and don't really give a fuck.. but the pm's aren't cool.. On this though... I gotta say I check and use google, and subscribe to vet sites supposed to help connect me to the shit, but they're all lame.. My main point is I've checked and even applied for over seas jobs etc as a dod contractor and nothing happens.. I didn't have a security clearance for the last job I tried though... and a lot of positions are strict on the years you can be out of military, and hire people trying to get out on the spot.. I was so disenchanted and fucked up at the time I ETS'd from active duty I didn't want any part in DoD stuff.. I got briefs, and I was told to try to jump on stuff while I still had my MI clearance, but I was almost ready to eat shit and be homeless if I couldn't make it in the civilian sector.. I was pissed my dumbass leadership, of which my xo.. or the officer in charge was the only one there to get me flight records at the time, and his plate was full.. He was pissed I wasn't able to get my flight records, and tried to make sure I got 'em.. He din't even know I was getting out, and got pissed he didn't know I was leaving 'till the last minute, but the installation I was on was shit. Poorest moral I've ever seen.. I digress.. It was hard for me to even want to get back in the military on reserve status because of the bullshit I've seen. Poor organization and fucking over the little guy. Still I've respect for properly organized chaos, and the way our active military operates is pretty fair if you ask me. idk. I'll definitely apply if I meet the qualifications for that link you shot me, but I know they try to hire directly from the pool of vets that just got out a lot so it's hard to get excited. My civilian DoD UAV teachers were cool, and down to earth as fuck at Fort Huachuca though.

You realize his youtube red series, and I think other legitimate corporations canceled his contracts over the fiver incident, and several media outlets have tried to tarnish his reputation for years right? The only reason he got back on my radar is I initially thought he did it for publicity, but it's hard to say that at this point.. He was unable to get any video monetized for a very substantial time.. I think he is a petty edgelord, but he can be funny and wholesome at times as well, and he's also brought a lot of content creators together, and helped them grow.. So I can't really downplay his youtube career just because he gets a lot of negative press.

lol you had to look the fact he had a war with T series up... I'm not really a fan of Pewds content either, but T series is a massive media corporation in India with A LOT of power, and influence so the fact his friends and subscribers were able to keep him number 1 at all is pretty crazy. Pew News wasn't a bad series either he probably just stopped it because it's a little cumbersome to challenge the legitimate american media on any youtube budget. 🙄
