Abby died a couple of months ago and she feels like a ghost in the house, like she’s still here somehow. We were able to rehome five out of six of Phoebe’s kittens. We kept one and named her Biscuit, and she is the sweetest cat who ever lived (yes, sweeter than your cat, reader, she wins). She will let me carry her all day, will stay in my lap constantly, unless Ted (the dog) comes nearby and she will love the absolute shit out of him. He doesn’t know how to handle her, she will try to kiss him on the mouth and he’s clearly voluntarily celibate. Anyway, I love her.
