I'm actually more concerned with how often she's feeding it considering she's saying it eats a lot. You don't feed them that much and I also wonder what type it is because if it's an herbivore it's probably not digging those pellets. Alternatively if it's a carnivorous/omnivore turtle, it may crave things like grasshoppers. worms or ants......My kids have a red ear slider at their mom's house and it doesn't care for those pellets......I told Buddy to catch him some bugs and I gave them some dried seaweed to take to it. It's much more content on this diet instead of dumping those pellets in there.

I have no idea how I missed Final Fantasy Brave EXvius but it's truly the best FF mobile experience I've come across. Complete with dungeon exploration. Only problem....As with all app games....I've reached that wall where I'm pretty much stuck unless I toss some money at it. I've never done that before on any game (sometimes I grind it out, or sometimes I just delete the game) but I'm too invested in this one.....I MUST FINISH IT.
