Orange did Beastars and Land of the Lustrous so I really wouldn't brush it off just because of the use of 3D. MAPPA uses 3D animation as well and they're able to make it work despite the reduced detail. I'm really looking forward to their adaptation of Chainsaw Man, which will also be in 3D. The key is how the anime itself comes together as a cohesive whole.
