  1. Good job! Thanks to the S3 soundtrack coming out a few weeks ago here's one of the cool videos I found last week with the full version of the awesome theme song for Historia that we heard late in S3 part 1, with visuals. (Fortunately no spoilers, it just goes up to her coronation) Pretty sure we first got to hear this for that scene when Historia epically knocked the syringe away from her father. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsAI-LRE5FI Backup without the cool visuals that has very slightly updated lyrics/spell-check (if you turn on CC).
  2. Yeah, I expect it back just like it came back for Alicization even after the long break.
  3. Yup, I definitely expect alternate world. Other show mentioned:
  4. Second one works directly now Top one still doesn't, had to image search the url through Google
  5. DVD only?? C'mon.... Give us a damn blu-ray AS. I want to pick up Progressive thanks to Jinyu being a pretty cool addition, but I'd much prefer a blu-ray, ugh.
  6. Thanks! Agreed, that looks really good. The style for the CG and the lighting looks very fitting and I always love that theme music. Will definitely watch if they bring it over. Please get the part iv and part v dub cast on this movie.
  7. Makes sense too that it's at least got some similarity given a lot of the naming. Curious if it's our world gone wrong or another world/alternate universe with similar but alternate history. The music and use of it this ep was amazing yet again.
  8. Hearing David Tennant's voice on Toonami's gonna be damn cool
  9. I guess it's possible but I don't think these look all that old anymore as I think both of these update the designs/shading a whole lot toward giving them a much more modern feeling. Not to mention the animation of them is really good like you said. Though having seen the old on Toonami I guess it's not like we can easily avoid noticing and having impressions influenced by how hugely updated they are compared to how they used to look, unlike someone who has never seen them before. So I'd hope they're not seen as looking old and it's just that they are targeting a more mature audience and mecha fans than something targeting the ultra smooth style of a shonen, which probably in itself probably puts some kind of a cap on ratings. Like I thought Lupin part IV didn't even look all that retro. Those updated designs looked pretty modern to me since they really took on inspiration from recent artist Takeshi Koike's art style for the characters, just not as stylized as what he personally did for the also recent Lupin the Third: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine series. Also, like I guess Gundam Unicorn still had some of the retro style but many of the designs looked quite modern to me at the same time. Though Unicorn probably did have the advantage of being mostly new characters. So less old-style designs like that big-headed dude above who still needs to look like an evolution of his old design.
  10. It was Dozle Zabi. The big guy who crazily survived the car explosion
