    the girls in this show do more than most shonen manga girls.....but still ultimately do nothing the only anime on the block where the girls actually do shit are Dr. Stone and Black Clover

    Tamaki's opening monologue was very gay but this is an anime for boys where trans characters are depicted as ugly freaks so we know that means nothing XD

    as an aside I feel mixed about this show the team making it clearly had knowledge of the original and were trying to pay homage to it (considering they're using the original OST) and the animation is actually top budget.....but the art is some of the ugliest I've ever seen even, and the writing is very clearly "see Generation Z kids we made this show for you Lol we're Randum!, dank memes brah!" to the point that it's painful to watch

    that's actually not true...Funi and Sentai *both* still regularly use Texan accents for characters from Osaka, it's just that they remove regional accents from redubs of shows they've license rescued from other companies so they can brag "See our dub is better we don't use accents UwU" case in point, they removed Nico Robin's Western accent in One Piece....but then gave Jaguar D. Saul one....which means it would've made more sense to keep Robin's western accent...since her entire cowgirl persona as Ms. Allsunday was her copying his aesthetic
