Bananas and Idiocy: The Animation

I haven't rewatched it since I bought it, and it just seemed like the right time. It's hard to not compare it to Eureka seveN, but it doesn't quite hold up. I'm looking forward to seeing Haru and Akiyuki's growth again, and maybe that ending will resonate a bit more this time 'round.

From what I've heard, based on hints people have picked up in the trailers (and I kinda noticed myself in one of them), the story will be the Major getting revenge on the people that made her a cyborg, which is not at all thematically appropriate for her character.

I finished the main story tonight, but didn't unlock Saber Arturia (FSN Saber) due to the weird requirements. The second arc had the happiest end, until I got to the end of the final arc. Also looks like it's left open for another Extra installment, though I'm not sure where the upcoming anime will fit. EDIT: More spoilery spoiler.

Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun 1-3 Still hilarious.

For some reason, it reminded me a bit of Samurai Champloo's OP, but I think that was the more rap-like song. But I can definitely feel some Lupin vibes.

The wiggling dance is good, but I think my favorite part is when the leviathan's (dragon we haven't met yet) face is singing along while something is being chopped at a factory [@1:15], but there are so many great, creative visual moments in that OP. My favorite opening that hasn't been mentioned yet is ACCA's: The tune keeps getting stuck in my head, and again, great visuals. But it looks like it was storyboarded by Natsume Shingo (Space Dandy director), so I shouldn't really be surprised.

Just makes it easier, since I don't normally like ranking stuff. But after that most recent episodes, especially Gintama's, I might have to go: 1. Rakugo 2. Gintama 3. MaiDragon 4. ACCA See, it's just not fair to the new shows? As for Chain Chronicle, it wasn't bad, like I said. But there wasn't anything there for me to connect with, and I could understand why that might be different for someone else. Would be nice to have a good melee action show, and Akiba's Trip isn't quite there visually. I might have said it before, but Gintama doesn't require strict adherence to watching every episode, so long as you hit the major arcs. Puri Puri Prisoner was only useless in that one battle we saw in order to show how powerful Saitama is. And I'd say they were afraid of him because he sexually assaulted people. He just happened to like sexually assaulting people of the same gender.

Kuromukuro and Silver Spoon are both good. If you're looking for a movie, Netflix has both Little Witch Academia OVAs, and Expelled From Paradise, which was written by Gen Urobuchi. But XBL Gold isn't required for most entertainment apps, unless this was recently reversed.

Putting Rakugo in the same category of other anime just doesn't seem fair. It feels like Key haven't had a good story since Clannad, since I don't really count Angel Beats in the same category. Little Busters was too boring to stick with it, and Rewrite was far too confusing for me to even try.
