That's crazy. No one can touch it, it seems.... Nice to see Bleach on the list still and at a respectable place. OPM, SDS and Academia in the top 10 are also nice things.

I know it's considered the lesser arc of the series, but I always thought it was still well-received? I think it should be doing a lil' better than it currently is, at least. For all the hype it had.

It's Dragonball. The show could be about Goku taking a massive diareeha dump every episode, people will eat it up (eww). Believe me, they're not gonna complain about the movie re-adaptations nor the numerous QUALITY episodes. Honestly, I want DBS because we need it to sustain Toonami from sinking (because obviously Toonami needs it since the damn casuals don't want to watch anything other than Dragonball) but as for the show itself.... it's really mediocre and honestly completely pointless.

I dunno, I just think the campiness is too much for the casuals to handle. It's isn't generically badass enough to fit their fancy lol.

It's looking that way. Maybe they'll air both. But if they only air one, I'm expecting Super over BuuKai.

Anyway with the dub already on the way, I expect this to replace Kai next year. We'll probably be skipping Buu saga Kai.

And that's about it. Which could easily be tweaked in dialog. Hardly butchering.

Butchered? I dunno if you havent seen Super, but it's extremely watered down content-wise from DB, DBZ, and GT. There's no blood to speak of and no sexual humor whatsoever. It's like Toei made it with America in-mind. Unless the uncut dub includes pointless swearing this cam easily air unedited on a kids network.

I wouldn't put it past the simple public to become utterly confused once Phantom Blood turns into Battle Tendency or when IBO ends and gets replaced with Unicorn. They're all gonna be like "A-DUH??? Wat happendz to da characterz-herp- nuh uh, no way" *turns tv off*.

It feels like the Toonami audience only wants ACTION ACTION ACTION. Hence why DBZ and OPM do so well. Gundam IBO has a lot of cooldown moments so that's probably not resonating well with the audience. That and that it's also a mecha series and those don't tend to well here.

I make plenty sense. I'm not the one saying "Toonami makes shows bad" now. That doesn't make any sense and you know it. Hence why I said - You make no sense. Pretty simple to grasp. Anyway, I would prefer those two over Academia (one being I already saw Academia's dub in full and haven't for those two), but that doesn't mean I wouldn't want Academia either.

Crap. JoJo suffered a big-ass-drop from DBZ Kai. Guess people really aren't gravitating to it. Or maybe.... casuals just don't give a fuck about any anime other than DBZ and the occasional other one (OPM, AoT) It's really kinda sad. There's so many stories to be told... yet the Toonami audience only wants more Goku. There's more to anime than DBZ, mainstreamers. -__- Looks like Super is our only hope. Joy. :-\

More like the Toonami audience isn't ecstatic about it. That doesn't make the show bad. I've already explained how Toonami isn't the end-all-be-all of a shows true success.

Oh, sorry. IBO, I meant. I do like Hero Academia. It's not all that groundbreaking, but it's a solid series. Although I'm glad for the anime's production values, it's almost a shame the series is only 13 episodes at the moment. If it was a long-runner, it'd probably be doing a lot better.

There's a lot of old anime coming back nowadays (D-Grayman, Gode Geass) But... I think in Bleach's case, not enough people care anymore to be worth bringing back the anime. Well, in Japan anyway. America would welcome it, but in the grand scheme of things, America doesn't really matter when it comes to anime. I just feel bad for Kubo. For as long as Bleach ran........ it still got cancelled. Thats rough.
